REPRESENTED

Julia Utensili S.p.A. was founded in 1978 in Tarcento (Udine)We believe it’s very important to offer a complete range of high quality product to satisfy all your circular saw blade needs. Our Quality System is certified in accordance with UNIENISO international standards, which ensures a constant qualitative monitoring of all phases of the production cycle. 2009, after years of careful study and research, Julia began the production of TCT circular saws in HM and Cermet to meet all the cutting needs of manufacturers and industrial tube transformers for all applications.

HSS Circular Saws

This is the standard product used for cutting alloys and common steel <550 Mpa. All the blades are made in super high‐speed steel with a high tungsten and molybdenum content. These elements of composition ensure that, after heat treatment, an extremely high hardness and suitable tenacity is achieved. The right tungsten percentage is essential to create the correct quantity of very hard wear‐resistant carbides in order to improve the tool life under high temperatures. The tungsten increases the mechanical endurance of the tool, improving the cutting performance and preventing the austenitic grain enlargement. The tungsten is also essential to guarantee the formation of a fine martensitic structure, and increases the tool tenacity, maintaining a high mechanical resistance. Vanadium is the element that forms the hardest, wear‐resistant carbides amongst all other alloys.

TCT Circular Sawsblades

Julia produces a comprehensive range of TCT saw blades in Carbide and Cermet, suitable for every customer application. Hard Metal (HM) is obtained through the synthesizing of tungsten carbide dust, titanium and tantalum, mixed with cobalt dust as a binder. The finely mixed materials are heated to 1500°C and pressed, in order to obtain very thin molecules to form a single homogeneous solid. The main features of HM are to maintain hardness and wear resistance even at the highest operating temperatures developed in the most difficult applications. Cermet is a material with a hardness between silicon carbide and diamond. It is very resistant to high cutting temperatures and is able to withstand extremely high machining rates. Cermet generates an excellent surface finish on the cut material and an extra‐long tool life.

Processing and transformation industry of the sheet, stamping and stamping, pipe and profiles.
